インターナショナルフレンドシップレガッタについて
HMYCが主催する国際ヨットレースで、2014年に第1回大会を開催しました。セーリング競技が盛んな各国の大使館関係者を中心とした方々を招き、ヨットレースを通じた国際交流活動を目的としています。東京五輪のセーリング競技が行われた海面で行われ、参加国とヨットクラブだけでなく、地域や競技団体、協賛企業などとの国際交流が行わるユニークなイベントです。

Further details including the official Notice of Race (NOR) will be announced in due course through our official channel. About the International Friendship Regatta
The International Friendship Regatta is an international sailing event organized by Hayama Marina Yacht Club, first held in 2014.
The event welcomes members of embassy communities from sailing nations around the world and aims to promote international exchange through sailing.
Held on the waters that hosted the sailing competitions of the Tokyo Olympic Games, the regatta is a unique international event that fosters exchange not only among participating countries and yacht clubs, but also with local communities, sailing organizations, and supporting partners.
About HMYC
Founded in 1986, HMYC is a Special Member of the Japan Sailing Federation.
As the official Host Club of the Nippon Cup, the club has successfully organized 13 international yacht match racing events to date, and in recent years has also hosted high-level keelboat championships. While maintaining a highly active club racing program, HMYC is equally committed to social contribution through initiatives such as the International Friendship Regatta and various charity sailing events.

優勝したドイツ大使館チーム
2025年9月13日（土）、葉山マリーナヨットクラブ主催の国際親善ヨットレース「葉山マリーナ インターナショナルフレンドシップレガッタ2025」が開催されました。
このイベントは、外務省、観光庁、スポーツ庁、神奈川県、葉山町、逗子市、公益財団法人日本セーリング連盟の後援のもと、日本に暮らす在日外国大使館の方々を葉山へお招きして、セーリングやパーティーを通じて交流を図る国際親善イベントです。 各国にはHMYCからホストチームが付き、事前の練習から当日のレースまで、国際交流を楽しみながら共にイベントを盛り上げます。
2014年の初開催以来、（コロナ禍での中断を経て）今回が10回目の開催となる今年は、アメリカ、イギリス、イタリア、オーストラリア、カナダ、スイス、スペイン、ドイツの8か国10チームの在日大使館が参加し、ホストチームと共に国別対抗レースに挑みました。
当日は曇り空に時折小雨が混じるコンディションながら、風は概ね順風。予定通りトライアングルコースでレースが実施され、各国のセーラーがホストチームのメンバーと共に快走しました。接戦を制したのはドイツで、昨年に続き見事連覇を果たしました。多くのゲストを乗せた観覧艇も出て、海上は各国の国旗がはためく華やかな雰囲気に包まれました。
アフターレースのパーティーもこのイベントの大きな特色です。幸い雨に降られることなく、各国のブースでは数々の特産品やワインやビールが大量に振舞われ、お互いの健闘を称えながらレース談義に花を咲かせる楽しい時間となりました。またスペイン大使館のご厚意で本場フラメンコのライブが披露されたり、葉山御前太鼓保存会の皆さんによる迫力あるパフォーマンスもあり、会場は大いに盛り上がりました。
今回も大使や公使をはじめ多くのご来賓もお越し頂き、選手やゲスト、地元葉山町のこどもたち、そしてクラブメンバーやボランティアが集まり、陸上・海上ともに国際色豊かな賑やかな一日となりました。
葉山マリーナヨットクラブでは、今後もセーリングを通じた地域交流・国際交流に寄与する活動を積極的におこなっていく予定です。

本大会について：

今年で10周年を迎える葉山マリーナインターナショナルフレンドシップレガッタは、8か国9チームが参加し、ドイツ大使館チームの初出場・初優勝となりました。今年の夏は猛暑が続き、また、天候の不安定さもありましたが、レース当日は快晴で素晴らしいレース日和となりました。葉山町御前太鼓保存会のパフォーマンスやヘリーハンセンの環境活動ワークショップなど、レース以外のプログラムも開催されました。アワードセレモニーでは、参加各国の特産品や協力団体から、日本の食文化のご紹介を頂きました。素晴らしい天候に恵まれ、大変有意義な国際交流活動の一日でした。HMYCでは今後もヨットレースを通じた国際交流活動を継続して参ります。

The Hayama Marina International Friendship Regatta celebrated its 10th anniversary this year. Nine teams from eight countries sailed in the race and first time entrant Germany won! This summer was extremely hot, with weather and ocean conditions being unstable, but fortunately, the weather on the day of the race was beautiful! There were also other programs such as a performance by the Hayama Town Gozen Taiko and a Helly Hansen environmental activity workshop. At the award ceremony, the participating countries introduced their local foods and Japanese food culture to the participating organizations. It was a very meaningful day of international exchange activities highlighted by gorgeous weather. HMYC looks forward to continued success in the promotion of international friendship and sportsmanship on the water. Our love of and commitment to sailing is what we, as a committee, would like to continue sharing with the international embassy community.
