Hayama Marina Yacht Club (an elite member of the Japan Sailing Federation) is proud to announce that the 2020 International Friendship Regatta will be held on Saturday, the 16th of May 2020.
In support of the sailing sports philosophy to expand the international sailing community and encourage the core values of sportsmanship, friendship and international understanding, we wish to invite members of Japan’s expansive Embassy community, friends and family, to join us as we celebrate the 7th Annual International Friendship Regatta.
“As we prepare to host the sailing portion of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, we strive to create a unique and enjoyable event not only in an effort to boost international communication and friendship among participating nations, but also to improve specific areas of sailing as a competitive sport with the support of all interested parties,” notes Mr. Hiroto Arakawa, Friendship Regatta Event Chairman.
