Takao Ninomiya won countless number of titles
in his youth such as the first 470 All Japan Championship and the
first J24 All Japan Championship.
He was also the first Japanese to win an international title when
he won the Western Hemisphere Snipe Championship.
Today he takes his profession as a novelist, but also spends much
time in fostering new sailing talents through his team, "Kishuu Sailing
Boys " in Ise-okushima area.
Winning the Mitsubishi Rayoon Cup 2003 entitled him to compete in
Nippon Cup 2003.
This is the second time for him to race in Nippon Cup.
